| I am Vegetarian because I don't believe I have a right to inflict harm on others, be it a person or an animal. All I know is that I would never want to be considered food, so I shall show the same respect and compassion for all life, regardless. |
| More About Me |
| I would say I'm very friendly and easy-going. I like meeting new people and broadening my horizons. I want to keep trying new things and gaining new experiences. I have too many interests to list, but lately I've really enjoyed learning Español and playing acoustic guitar. My poor old piano seems to be getting neglected these days :-( I enjoy keeping fit and trying out new activities. I try to get to the gym most weekdays and I do one long-distance run per week. I believe our bodies are temples and we should treat them as such if we expect them to serve us a lifetime. Nothing makes me feel better or calmer though than meditation. This is my escape, where I can let all my problems fade away. If there's one piece of advice I would give to people, it would be to remember to breathe, long and deep, whatever the situation. It's so simple, yet so easily forgotten... Anyway, not sure exactly what you wanted to know, so please ask if I missed something (don't be shy!)... Basically I try to embrace every moment of life, cause when all we have is now, make now count! |
| I'm Looking For |
| I believe I can learn a lot from others so I'm looking to meet new people, doesn't really matter if it's in person or I'm just talking with virtual friends. I really like cooking as well, but haven't found any good vegetarian culinary courses as of yet. Let me know if there are any budding Chefs out there. Anyway I've always felt veg*ns think a little deeper, and are generally some of the most inspiring and nicest people to be around. I only know a few, but hopefully I will find more and return the same favour in kind... |
