| I became a vegetarian in 2011 after I did a paper for my composition class. It was about the conditions of factory farms and slaughterhouses and how they are not only inhumane but they are mostly unsanitary as well. I transitioned to vegan in the summer of 2013. |

| More About Me |
| About me.. I am an open minded but I am a very passionate person and have strong beliefs when I feel something to be right. I feel like human beings need to be more involved in their communities and become more educated on matters such as where their food and products come from so that they may make more educated choices. In a perfect world self sufficiency and environmental awareness should be taught in school but realize that because of human greed and government corruption, profit will always take importance over all else, at any cost. I eat mostly organic and will be planting my own garden once the ground thaws. I am a strong believer in respect for ALL living beings. I believe that when we fear something, we should try and learn from it because we might learn there is nothing to be afraid of in the first place. :) Men who respect animals and have compassion are very attractive to me. (You can tell much from someone who respects life) I have a playful personality but I may come off as very serious until someone gets to know me. I can be shy at first but I love one on one situations where I can get to know someone. I have an extreme desire to travel and plan on doing a lot of it in the near future. I am leaning more towards the minimalist lifestyle. I buy all my clothes used because I don't want to contribute to corporate gain and because I recycle! I try to volunteer when I can. I sew crafts and will donate them to benefits for auction if I don't have the money to donate. I have two sons, one 9 years old and one 2 years old who both live with me full time. |

| The type of man I want to meet would be open- minded, smart, non-materialistic, respectful, honest, compassionate, willing to make lifestyle changes along with me (because I am still in the process and need support), willing to try things and to learn, good with kids, adventuress, aware of himself (how he effects others by his decisions and actions), and has a good sense of humor. |
