| Vegetarian - for various reasons: my respect for all living creatures, my disgust at the way many animals are treated on farms and in their old age and not to forget the disgusting abattoirs, the growing danger of overpopulation among domesticated animals and pets, and lastly the health aspect. |

| More About Me |
| Born and bred in Australia, with pioneering ancestors. I left in 1968 and eventually settled in the Netherlands. I live in a sunny flat on the edge of a medium sized town, I can greet the sun as it rises each morning and within five minutes walking I'm in a natural park with a few pools and a small herd of Limousin cattle, lots of birds and insects and yummy wild blackberries. I share my simple and contented life with three cats, a hedgehog and many wild birds. A bit of a recluse, often alone, rarely lonely. I enjoy a lively debate, interesting conversation and appreciate a good sense of humour. Over the years I've developed my own 'religion' which is based on once again, my respect for all living things. Open to new ideas, an avid reader, a music lover, an art lover, I have a small gardenplot (permaculture) and also grow many plants in pots, I love walking in quiet woody places. I have a small studio where I play around with clay, wood, paint and various things I find along the way. A Jack-of-all-trades, I am an Art Therapist and have also taught arts and crafts, painting, etc. I have an aversion to loud people and places and to very hot and very cold weather. |
