| I live with three adopted cats. They're great for companionship, not so much for romance. My values are down-to-earth; my needs are simple. I'd rather walk than drive, I pack a lunch for work, and I spend most evenings in as opposed to going out to be entertained. Sadly, my paycheck comes from the corporate world of online marketing; all the same, I take pride in my work and read copiously to stay current. My politics lean farther to the left as I learn more and more about the workings of predatory capitalism and the powers behind the throne. There, I read copiously to better understand why I sometimes feel so conflicted about my job. I enjoy daily exercise (P90X), time spent with family and friends, music in minor keys (esp. classical), stupid jokes, movies in CinemaScope, and volunteering for issues of social justice and animal rights. |

| I hope to meet a pleasant and unassuming veggie gal who doesn't take herself too seriously. Sense of humor, self-respect, unselfishness, unorthodox thinking, and compassion for all creatures are among the qualities I admire. Shared values are essential; shared interests would be great, but that part of the relationship can always be worked out. Be yourself, and if you're square with the world and open to a prickly curmudgeon who loves classical music, dumb jokes, and cats, who knows? |
