| health, ethical, after almost 40 years it's just a habit. i really don't think about my diet too much anymore, I just don't eat animal products, except occasionally a little honey, but that really isn't a large part of my diet, and I sometimes go years without it. recently raw (frozen) fruit has been a major part of my diet, in almond and oatmilk smoothies that start to mimic ice cream. |

| I have my PDC- Permaculture Design Certificate, and am currently establishing my own design in the process of expanding gardens, building dams, and water management systems. getting ready to start teaching Permaculture I finally bought a decent fiddle and have started to play everyday again, mostly old time,, but misc other tunes--self taught. Recently Jams have become a larger part of my life and it is so much fun to be with good players. kayak- I have a couple of them, James river close by, or even just on my ponds can be relaxing yoga-sort of- I was disciplined many years ago, now I use yoga to heal injury and as part of everyday work, extending stretches, focusing on muscles etc during work meditate -sort of- sitting by a pond, feeding the fish, watching things grow off the grid-I'm developing a pretty reliable system, with reduced power requirements and most of the "normal" comforts, including wi fi master herbalist (School of Natural Healing reiki master body electronics practitioner. first 100 hrs of formal shiatsu training I never thought I would use western medicine, but was bitten by a rabid bobcat a couple years ago and did get the vaccine for that. covid (any variety) doesn't scare me and I never got any vaccine for that |
