| Why I'm Vegetarian |
| I can see no reason that any animal should die just so that I can eat. It is a question of simple logic to me - I could not possibly kill a living creature nor could I ever be such a hypocrite as to allow someone else to do it for me. I have survived perfectly well as a vegetarian for over 40 years and won't be changing that now! |

| My name is Tony and I have been a committed vegetarian for many years now. I believe myself to be an honest, sensitive and caring man who has a very positive outlook on life, even in times of adversity. I try to always behave with integrity and what I hope is emotional maturity, and although I have yet to find a lasting partnership, I always believe that I one day will. I have many different interests which cover quite a wide spectrum of life. As an ex-journalist and English teacher, I have a natural love of literature and reading as well as creative writing and story-telling. I have a number of other arts-based interests, including theatre, cinema and visiting art galleries. I also like all kinds of music - both recorded and live - play guitar and piano myself and sing with a number of local choirs. I have long had a commitment to environmental and animal rights groups as part of my reverence for the earth and all its living creatures. I also love being outdoors and spend a lot of time walking and exploring the countryside - all the better if the day is rounded off with a visit to a vegetarian cafe! |

| I'm looking for the chance to develop a committed and lasting relationship with someone who shares some of my interests and wants to find the romance in life. I would like to find someone who can smile in the face of adversity and always look for reasons to express gratitude for whatever life offers them.
