| Vegetarianism has become a habit after 40 years. I'm pleased to think that I don't need to eat other animals to survive and I know it is better for the planet and the rest of us. But I do use dairy products so I know that animals are being sacrificed for me and I can't claim the moral high ground (and I wear leather shoes). |

| Scary picture eh? Despite this appearance, I am not Rasputin and I have been known to smile (often). Someone pointed out that a picture is important and this is the only recent one that fitted the sites criteria. I do have a beard at the moment but it will probably come off in the winter. I get up very early to meditate each day. I drink quite a lot of wine too so I'm full of contradictions like most people. I'm generally happy and easygoing, maybe a little lazy. I like women but of course I'm often completely baffled by humans in general. I love sailing and growing vegetables, hillwalking and cycling-did I mention sailing-that has been my lifelong and consuming interest. |
| I'm Looking For |
| Someone who could read the above and still be interested. I am fairly recently out of a very long relationship and this is all new to me so I guess I'm looking for someone with a warm heart above all. This has been my first foray and I am reverting to free membership so may not be able to respond to any posts. It has been interesting and I think not eating meat might be one of the more important compatibility factors. Have you noticed though that what looks like a long list of like minded people gets drastically reduced if you take recent activity into account. It took me a while to work that out so my intelligence credentials may need reassessment. Good luck everyone. Well I'm back.
