| Why I'm Vegetarian |
| I was a child when I stopped eating meat and I didn't really know what a vegetarian was at that time. Even as a very young teen I intuitively felt that eating animals killed en masse to feed people who never saw the way their "food" was raised and abused was inherently wrong and even immoral. This was long before the animal rights movement began. Then as I grew older, the more I learned about the way animals were treated, housed and slaughtered was abhorrent to me and I realized I would never go back to the diet of my childhood. |

| I am in sales and have been for thirty-five years. I am a Phoenix native and can't imagine living anywhere else. I exercise four to six times per week. I run the stairs at a local high school and then head to the gym and get ready for work there. |
| I'm Looking For |
| I am confident I will know when I encounter someone who is like minded about healthy living in all aspects of their life. Some people may find my dietary restrictions to be to difficult to accommodate but as most of you know, you can find something to enjoy on almost menu, with a few exceptions. Also, there are so many new, healthy places to eat that have opened over the past few years that being vegetarian/vegan/raw is hardly unusual anymore. |
