| I'm vegan first and foremost for ethical reasons. I eat mostly raw simply because it's healthier, more logical, and feels better. But I still eat the occasional cooked meal, and am totally open to non raw people. |

| More About Me |
| I love to be spontaneous and have fun, but I'm also firmly grounded both emotionally and psychologically--so I'm both someone to laugh with and someone to talk about deeper things with. I love to do both. I am honest, even if it gets me into trouble, since truth and reality--even the ugly stuff--are ultimately all that matters. I'm completely loyal to those I call friends, even to those who have betrayed me in the past (I may distance myself from them, but I'll never be anything less than respectful, since I don't want to be a backbiter). I love quality and substance in everything--my musical tastes, entertainment, the way I speak, and my relationships. I don't do things in secret that I wouldn't mind people knowing about, since again, it doesn't matter what I appear to be to others, but what and who I really am. I want to be able to have real respect for myself, and so I act accordingly, even in my mind. | I'm Looking For |
| Someone who is vegan for ethical reasons above all, who cares for/is concerned for all life, including bugs and plants. Someone who is open to new thoughts and ideas, but is also grounded in her own (substantial) intellect. And also someone who is willing to make a complete 'fool' of themselves in order to help/attempt to help any person or creature in need, no matter what it makes them look like or to whom. And by extension, someone who wouldn't be embarrassed of me as I did the same. A sweet disposition, but with the fire of principled conviction. Someone who enjoys just being quiet and doing nothing, with or without loved ones present--who loves being physically active, but also enjoys meditative activities and states of mind. Also, I take care of many injured and orphaned animals, as well as undertake rescue operations both in neighborhoods and in the wild--and have done so all my life. Many rescuees don't recover sufficiently to be released, or simply have nowhere else to go, and thus become permanent family members. This takes hours of work and dedication every day, (some would call it inconvenient, but since I care for each individual so dearly, I expect and embrace the inconvenience), and I would love a life partner who would thrill in the exhilaration of helping others like I do, and be happy to get their hands dirty, flex some serious muscles, and help take care of all these big and little lives who depend on people like us. Someone who would be happy not being able to go out and 'have fun' because creating and maintaining a peaceful, abundantly life-filled piece of wilderness is reward enough. And I would love to have children and raise them caring for animals, plants, the land, and other humans--in a loving environment surrounded by the little (and big) ones we take care of. The world can't have too many children who are filled with compassion and have a strong sense of responsibility and motivation. |
