| I would describe myself as semi vegan as I do still eat genuine free range eggs & local honey. I have been vegetarian for about 40 years. Until recently I still ate butter & yoghurt. I chose this life after reading Animal Liberation by Peter Singer, from concern about not supporting cruelty in the industry & being involved with animal welfare concerns in Sydney. |

| I live on a quiet co-owned bush property where I built my own tiny shack. I do some gardening & now I have a shed, some painting. I love animals, birds, insects etc & cats have a special place in my heart. I am interested in art & I enjoy reading, bush walking, a wide variety of music, although days of enjoying rock have passed! I listen to ABCRN & ABC Classic but still like blues, Joni Mitchell & well...lots besides. As it's not in the Activities section I am mentioning that I enjoy kayaking. I'm entered as Buddhist because I have experienced great benefit from vipassanna meditation & the teachings of the dharma. |
