| I’ve been an ethical vegetarian since age 13. I have deep feelings about avoiding being a party to the unnecessary suffering of any creature but it’s a very personal belief and I don’t proselytize or judge anyone else about how they choose to live. |

| I'm separated with 2 children. The legal divorce is (hopefully) close to completion. I also have an older daughter out of the nest living on her own in grad school. I'm a very involved, loving parent. I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor by profession. Most of my clients are children and adolescents. I love my work, I’ve been practicing for many years. I'm dedicated to helping improve the lives of my clients and in doing so, improve myself. I get so much from exploring other people's experiences. I don’t smoke or use any drugs, and I’m allergic to alcohol. I have an eclectic range of interests. I’m an avid hiker/walker and I also work out frequently. I own a small internet company that sells a backpacking stove I invented and I'm also building a jewelry/wearable art business. Certified in scuba as a rescue diver but don’t get to do that as much as I’d like. I like to go out and socialize. I never stop learning and growing. |

| I’ve been legally separated for more than 3 years and emotionally separated for longer but I'm not fully legally divorced yet. Hopefully, that will be done by the end of May 2025. At this point I'm most interested in making some connections with like-minded women (and people in general) and socializing vs. jumping into a serious relationship. I've learned the hard way that most women aren't interested in/open to doing that with a still-technically-married person anyway. It's a frustrating place to be at times, but..it is what it is and I can't move it along any faster than I'm already doing. |
