| For most of my life, I worked as a teacher (High School) & after retiring from that, I started working part-time with Realty but am now retired (from working for money but not retired from Life!) I love dancing, music, performing arts. I am Spiritual but not an adherent of any particular religion, I meditate and perhaps am closest to Buddhism/Jainism but also love attending Church if I'm visiting with a friend on a Sunday. I believe 'Paths are many, Truth is One" - Mahatma Gandhi. Working out is important to me; physically, mentally, emotionally and Spiritually - I like to challenge myself daily to be the best I can be and love learning & growing. I go to the gym;- barre, weight lifting, general body pump, swimming. I start my day with yoga every morning, also try to meditate sometime during the day but have yet to develop a good routine for this. I get a lot of happiness from natural surroundings, walking through woods, streams, lakes, the ocean! Recently been doing some landscaping and have planted roses (which I love) and other shrubs & plants. Would love to learn more about Permaculture & using solar energy. I don't watch cable TV but I have a Netflix account & also watch TED talks, Grand Courses Plus lectures, PBS & the Smithsonian Channel. If I had a partner, I would watch less and do more :D |
