| I was vegetarian for 13 years for the animals before I realized how hypocritical that was. I have now been vegan for 2 years and only regret not doing it sooner. Cliche I know...... but still true. I am so saddened by the fact that it is so easy to make the vegan/compassionate choice, yet so many people don't (myself included up until I switched). "Be one less person harming animals, go vegan" |

| I own my own dog grooming business. I enjoy hiking (10+ hours, overnights, the trails less traveled), yoga and most any physical activity. I need adventure in my life. I am independent and am someone who needs time alone. That being said though, I am always up for new adventures, and sometimes having someone to share that with can only heighten the experience. I also love my couch and watching Netflix. I read a lot, play video games, and am crafty. I have been single for the better part of the last 5 years. I find that the older I get the less I'm able to relate to people. I was hoping that dating a vegan would solve this disconnect that I feel, but quickly found out that it takes more than just having veganism in common. Friends and family tell me that if I really want to date that I should compromise more on what I want in a partner. But I think as vegans, we tend to naturally stand our ground in the face of the unpopular decision. And besides that, I don't think I'm asking too much!!!!!!! A vegan, a non smoker, doesn't live with his parents, and has his own life. If those qualities don't exist in one person, then I guess I'm effed and will remain single. |

| I'm Looking For |
| I'm looking for someone who is independent. Someone who is already happy with their life, and is looking for someone to share that with. You must be vegan, non smoking, and not live with your parents. And also.... what is a "semi-vegetarian"? Isn't that just a meat eater? And why is that even an option on this site? |
