| Why I'm Vegan |
| Hi, prospective best friend! I am vegan for health, animals and the environment. I wish it was out there to learn earlier, but at least I know and have benefitted greatly since 2010 going this lovely way :) I love animals and always wondered if my pets were a different value compared to pigs and cows - since we had to eat meat and dairy, and lots of refined sugar - yum then; yuck now :) As a good Mom, I wanted to feed my kids right so when I heard Dr. Campbell (who wrote The China Study) say there is the right kind of protein in plant food, I instantly became organic WFPB - whole food plant-based only. Studies show when you eat this way you are 14 years younger than chronological :) I wouldn't have believed it before (I have a Master of Science degree so a critical thinker), but joyously do believe it now and try to spread this golden news gently ~ |

| More About Me |
| I'm one of the most compassionate nurses I know - very kind, caring, non-judgmental, and giving. I have kept myself healthy, and enjoy music, singing, dancing, nature, hiking, gardening, preparing real food, and even washing dishes :) I compost, eat mostly organic, much raw, and whole plant based ;) I join an organic CSA each year, and grow my own herbs - using a long planter on my porch since the deer don't venture up but eat everything else in the yard ... I have a wider spirituality, and truly believe if we all wake up, we can heal ourselves, feed the world and end aggression toward animals and others - with whole food plant-based only ways. I am a good writer; I'd love to write a blog or book some day to share this wider gold news, and have a slower life to organize my family pictures ;) Yes, I typically have lots of shoes and clothes: work, workout, dancing, winter, summer ... I have many talents and capabilities, but I am afraid of heights and don't feel tummy good on a sailboat - so, other than those, I enjoy lots of venues! |

| A protective and provider type man and soulmate with like-minded values, vegan, or wanting to be - who takes care of himself; he is strong, operates life smartly, honest, well-balanced, emotionally healthy (so no control, domineering, preying on others, deceptive, anger or violent tendencies) Yes, I've learned a bunch growing up, lol! Romantic, and wants a 'one and only' full friend, equal value partner - woman. Since many have hidden agendas, just know I've learned to keep a wary stance - just until I figure out who's for me ;) In the meantime, let's keep it light-hearted and have some wholesome, inexpensive, safe fun :) |
