| I am a free spirit, more of a leader than a follower. Always seeking to improve myself and openminded to novel and ancient modalities for optimal health and enlightenment. I have been a vegan/vegetarian for a number of years. I enjoy cooking and have recorded almost 800 of my own recipes with an eye toward someday publishing them. I have a Masters in mechanical engineering and am an energy-engineering consultant, with a focus on energy efficiency and conservation. I delight/have delighted in transcendental meditation, yoga, tai chi, qigong, painting, sailing, and playing musical instruments. I see a relationship as a special place of the heart where a person's innermost thoughts and feelings are free to express themselves and evolve, with concomitant haven for revealing vulnerabilities without trepidation - where sensitivity and love toward each other and the planet/universe where we live are paramount to personal and spiritual growth.
