Why I'm Vegan
I was a so-called pescatarian for about 12 years before I became a full-fledged vegan about 3 years ago. Originally it was strictly for health reasons, but as time went on I became more and more aware of the routine and widespread mistreatment of animals, as well as the terribly harmful impact on the environment, by the animal agricultural industry. That awareness has had the effect of strengthening and reinforcing my commitment to veganism. 
More About Me
I'm a (mostly) positive and optimistic person, with wide-ranging interests that range from literature, film, travel, politics / current events and computers, to just relaxing at home, fixing a healthy meal, and spending time with friends. I have a secure job and a nice living space along with a good sense of humor, and am temperamentally easy-going and open to new interests and new experiences. 
I'm Looking For
A compatible woman living more or less in my general vicinity, for friendship and possibly more. Someone who's fit, active and young at heart, not overly judgmental, who shares my commitment to a healthy and ethical diet.
