| Why I'm Vegan |
| I really wanted to be vegan after watching Cowspiracy, but quit after only two days of bloating. I decided that maybe my digestive system just wouldn't be able to handle it. However, after watching "What the Health” I decided to give it another shot. It took me a couple weeks to transition and then I was in the clear. Then watching the movie "Earthlings" pretty much sealed the deal for me. I love animals and find it so strange that people can show so much compassion for their domestic pets but completely disassociate from the suffering animals with equal consciousness are experiencing daily. After knowing what I know now, I find that there is no justification for it. I've recently moved to a mostly "whole food plant based diet" and I am training for a marathon. I've never felt so good in my life and I'm so grateful to have found this knowledge. I'm really looking forward to meeting some fellow Vegans, currently I'm the only one that I know and I want to change that! |
