| Greetings! I am venturing into the dating world after a hiatus of several years. I am sort of semi-retired, and a student at a local college, taking classes in a probably-futile effort to keep my mind in some semblance of sharpness, and to hone my less-than-razor wit. I worked in the military legal field for many years, and had a year as a department manager at a bank. I enjoy reveling in the outdoors all year round. I enjoy running, which helps keep me reasonably fit. I like kayaking and hiking, and sampling Tacoma's splendid restaurants. I love to travel and went to Europe and Costa Rica this past year. I also like indoor activities. I like music - jazz, folk rock, opera, classical, etc), and I delight in spending time reading (fiction, history, politics, etc.), writing, playing the guitar, penning dorky verse, and savoring the occasional glass of red. |
