| More About Me |
| I am compelled to be a part of nature on a daily basis. Since I have a small, 18.5 acre farm, nature is a few feet outside my farmhouse door. My horses, dog and cats keep me connected to the basics of life. As a writer and fine artist, I like to create something every day. When at my leisure in the evening, I like to read, watch movies or go hiking with my dog or horses. My day job is as a mortgage loan underwriter and am currently studying for my second Master's degree in creative writing. In addition to caring for my animals, I dabble in growing vegetables. Currently I have two asparagus raised beds and blueberry bushes. I am also interested in permaculture and hope to make the acreage surrounding my home a food forest. I enjoy peace in relationships, avoid toxic, intolerant people and enjoy meditation. My pick me ups are comedy (movies or stand up), great books, and trying to play and sing along to my favorite songs on my keyboard. |
