| -No subject or activity is taboo - Just do your best not to harm living beings. -I'm a vegetarian working towards a waste-free-ish life, an atheist walking the line between hedonism, self-improvement and having a positive impact in the world. -We can enjoy simple things, be worldly and elegant and not be snobbish all at once. -We can't judge people without having taken the time to understand where they come from and their point of view. -Deep, meaningful, rational conversations around any aspect of life, society or anything, really, are captivating, not exhausting. -Don't settle for "ok" conditions/results - you can appreciate what you have AND aim to achieve more. -I quickly get bored if I'm not doing/creating something significant, learning, or playing. | I'm looking to make more friends to have deep conversations and fun playing with (board games, game-like sports, projects we're both passionate about, videogames...). Other than common interests so we have interesting things to talk about and do together, what I'm looking for in friends are kind people with shared values and availability - it's nice to know great people who we get to see at occasional parties, but I'm really after more "best-friend-you-want-to-be-with-as-often-as-possible" / "close siblings" kinds of relationships. Now, if I get incredibly lucky my dream match would be: Someone like me, intense yet composed, a passionate free thinker and free spirit who isn't afraid to dive deep and dream but can also switch into planning and consistent action-taking gear. Someone who loves learning and realizes that even though we are enough, it's exciting to know that we can be so much more and to work towards it, together. I don't believe in the single soul-mate cultural trope so my ideal match(es) also feel that true family is composed not of those who happen to be in the same lineage but of the people who you want to spend every waking hour with - those who we choose to keep in our lives because they are genuinely awesome, carefully selected and nurtured inspiring people: partners to share all aspects of life and all of its adventures with, enjoying all of life's pleasures together. Imagine, if you may, the mix between the nicest and coolest colleagues you could possibly have, a think tank of electric intellectuals who nerd-out about the same things that light you up, a driven social movement, a team of passionate entrepreneurs and a group of open-lovers (figuratively or even perhaps literally for those of the group who think that we don't have a finite amount of love and that there is no sense in it being constrained.) |
