| Why I'm Vegan |
| There are so many reasons I am vegan, from environmental considerations to animal rights. I do not believe that animals should be exploited as mere means to an end but that they should be respected as individuals, therefore I cannot ever see myself eating or using animals as "products". |
| More About Me |
| Happiness is a mixture of adventure, purpose and self reflection. Throughout the year I try to visit as many festivals, animal sanctuaries, concerts, nature preserves and plays as I can and on weekend nights I like cooking new recipes for my friends and family. In my personal time I am often reading books, writing or playing with my dog and pig. Being in the wilderness is very special for me, I love to wander trails on mountains, in forests and over streams, witnessing nature's intricacy and beauty, contemplating my place in all this. I have been told that I have a mischievous, sarcastic and dry sense of humor. I am one of those lucky ones that enjoys their job. Currently, I am an instructional designer for a large company, but it is not my true calling. Everyone has goals. My own is to start a compassion immersion education center where people come to learn to think for themselves, experience new view points and explore what it means to value lives other than their own. |

| Soulmates are hard to find, but a sense of humor is gold. Do you like The Office or Flight of the Conchords? I want to find someone who I can laugh with, who can appreciate the nerd in me, discuss philosophy, maybe poetry, and to go on adventures with. Do you appreciate Sci-Fi and fantasy genres? What about laughing at classic but bad B movies? How do you feel about a night under the stars miles from civilization? I do not have an exhaustive list of criteria for a significant other because life can move in funny ways, but I do desire someone I can connect with on multiple levels, become friends with and grow together. |
