| Creative, sensitive, love words, nature, animals, family... From San Francisco originally, I immigrated to Australia in 1989. I still have my accent, but I've lived here longer than I lived in the USA. I've had a diverse working career across three states while raising my now adult children. I've taught primary school music and art, and I'm now working as a casual relief teacher, which I love - it's very flexible. Lifestyle-wise I'm not interested in accumulating 'stuff' and I try to be environmentally conscious. I'm young at heart, passionate about learning and have a lot of interests. At this point in my life I'm interested in looking beyond my own needs sometimes and helping others. I have a Facebook page, Our Vegan Planet, that I run as a cause focusing on vegan awareness and education. I'm passionate about Humane Education and hope to do something meaningful in this area. Amicably divorced, my children have now flown the coop, although I see them often, and I have two furry friends living with me. |
