| Why I'm Vegan |
| I became a vegan because I had food sensitivities and most of these foods were animal-based. There is also some plant-based foods that I can't eat, such as avocados, nuts, and seeds. basically I can't eat anything that is made with or contains oil, even vegetable oil. I am on a diet prescribed by Dr Caldwell Esselstyn. I definitely care about the animals and wish they were treated better. If I didn't have the food sensitivities, I would probably be vegan anyway, for their sake. I happen to really like the food I eat. In fact, I crave it. Give me a bowl of garbanzo beans anytime and I'll be a happy man. |

| [Update (10/11/2022):. The surgery went great and i fully recovered, but i have since moved permanently to the philippines and am in a wonderful relationship with a woman here. I tried to close my account, but it won't let me for some reason. ] [Update (8/3/2021):. Unfortunately, I need to take a break for a few months. I've been having some heart related issues that wouldn't go away so now I'm scheduled for bypass surgery on August 23rd. They tell me that the recovery after that type of surgery can take 8 to 10 weeks, and I don't think I could handle searching for my true love during that time. Besides who would want to date me while I'm going through that anyway. I never imagined that I would be single and something like this would come up in my life, so I guess it's going to be a challenge getting through it on my own. Good luck to everyone! I sure have met some incredible women on here even though we never ended up being the perfect match. I'm still thinking positive though but I need to put it on hold for a while. Take care!!] ************************** I sure would love to meet someone. I am really ready for a loving and life long relationship. I'm pretty lonely and I do much better when I have someone to love and care for. Before retiring I was a software and quality engineer. I am a good man. I am kind, devoted, loyal, intelligent, and value health and fitness. I love animals. I truly miss that one special love in my life. I did everything in my power to try to save my marriage, I will do the same thing for any relationship. |
