| Why I'm Vegan |
| I had always preferred a healthy way of eating and know plant based is the better food choice. However I was still eating meat on occasions and didn't mind it. Somehow came across the documentary Earthlings and realized the horrors going on in the slaughterhouse. I became a vegan then and there but didn't realize it until put to the test with a piece of meat on my plate. When I took a bite on it I instantly felt the agony and suffering the animal went thru. For the first time I had the awareness that I wasn't consuming food, but eating death, terror, trauma, pain, adrenaline, puss and suffering. Never once looked back since, and my only regret was not realizing this sooner. |
