| After having learned about and observed animal cruelty/suffering and exploitation I became vegan about 24 years ago. Veganism for me is about living a compassionate lifestyle, which includes making daily choices that avoid participating in causing harm to animals and the environment. Veganism is spiritual practice, bringing me closer to nature and truly "doing no harm". |

| Living in a beautiful coastal area I often walk and run the trails and walk barefoot along the water's edge on beaches. Simply sitting quietly in nature instills peace and calm in my life. I also love to hang out at home (alone or with friend(s)), listening and dancing to music on my stereo, practicing qigong, playing my frame drum (learning), reading, spacing out. And, I thoroughly enjoy being playful, spontaneous and a bit silly LOL. But I also love and need quiet and stillness. Respectful and compassionate communication with deep listening are critical for me. I am deeply romantic and loving. I am a retired physical therapist. I presently work very part time at a local health food store, teach qigong and dog sit here and there. |
