| Why I'm Vegetarian |
| Ethics and Health. Avoiding factory farmed food but have no moral problem with animal products obtained from a positive, symbiotic relationship between the animals and people obtaining milk, eggs, honey and dairy products in exchange for giving them a good comfortable life. I also eat bi-valves (oysters and clams). Red meat raises cancer risks quite a bit, and most fish has corexit and other toxins, plus it contributes to over-fishing which is very bad for the environment. |

| I teach English as a second language and several other subjects for a college-level tutoring company. I love gardening, knitting (mostly socks), reading (either non-fiction of some sort or sci-fi), movies (love documentaries or movies based on true stories....except at Christmas-time I love corny happy Xmas films), family games, playing music (guitar and piano), writing, cooking (especially baking), yoga, skating, tennis. I am not religious but don't mind being around people who are, as long as they are nice, normal people who don't use religion or politics to make other people miserable I'm able to be around people with a wide range of beliefs/opinions. I'm politically Independent. I love indie rock, trance, and classical music. |

| I live in the middle of cattle ranching and oil fracking country, so although there are some nice people to be friendly with there is a lack of common ground on vegetarianism and agnosticism/atheism, and a small pool of people to choose from. |
