| Why I'm Vegan |
| I was raised with meat, dairy and eggs, leather, mousetraps. I gradually realized that all creatures deserve to live a happy life if possible. I don't want to support cruelty by supporting industrial production of animal products, or the killing or exploitation of animals. My contradictions here is that I do eat honey, but not often. And I do have photos made, but don't buy film. |

| I work in the produce dept. of a major organic/natural grocery store chain. I am part time now, and will retire one of these days. I try to keep in good shape by swimming once or twice a week. Like second hand stores and getting great quirky bargains. Like antique stores and museums and any kind of art and design. Love being outside for whatever reason. I think I'm a good listener, but it needs to be interactive, where I can ask questions or comment as we go and expect the same when I'm telling something about myself. I like reading, but haven't done much lately. Would eventually like to live in the country around nature, and maybe even try building a small house, though that would be a steep learning curve for me. I like being around people, but need plenty of down time as well. Politically I would say I'm a conservative liberal. |
