| It all started when I was working in a BBQ restaurant. I saw way too much!! It really put me off to eating animals so I started doing some research. I soon was reading books like Fit for Life and began my vegetarian journey. Around 10 years ago, I went to a weekend retreat with Forks over Knives and Engine 2. I was hooked and have been living this lifestyle ever since. |

| My happy place... Is being on the bow of a sailboat enjoying the sand and sea. I grew up on the Gulf Coast and love to sink my toes in the sand and feel the sun on my face. I am a water person!! My other happy place… is Disney World! I love going as often as I can. It has been several years and I am due for a trip. There is nothing better than walking into the park in the morning and walking down Main Street. I have a passion for… I'm passionate about working with children and helping them become better readers. I take great joy in my job where I am making a difference. I am a mom first and am very proud of my 18 year old. He is kind, compassionate and has a great heart and drives me crazy when he doesn't do his homework. He lives part time with his dad and we are working together to help him grow into a wonderful young man. I'm a vegan but not militant about it. | I am looking for someone who is a veggie or vegan or heading toward that lifestyle. I am interested in finding someone to hang out with and do fun things. I've never really explored the Portland area and I'm sure I have missed lots of things. |
