| I am strongly connected with nature, and with the ocean in particular. I am a freediver instructor and I am fond of it, as I love sharing what I am passionate about with other people. I don't have a specific political orientation or life philosophy, I am continuously questioning all my convictions, trying to get rid of the preconceptions and biases that I inherited from the cultural environment in which I grew. For such reason, I love traveling and getting to know other cultures, as the confrontation with points of view that other than my own ones provides me a great opportunity for evaluating them more objectively and possibly rethinking them. I value spirituality a lot, as it is a core component of my constant research, and in no way I associate it with any of the existing religions, even if I learned a lot from a few of them. Harmony in human relations is of primary importance for me, so I always approach any new acquaintance with an open heart, doing my very best to establish a positive and constructive relationship. I am actively involved in both environmental conservation and human rights advocacy, as I consider protecting nature as important as defending human dignity and life in general. I am convinced there is no conflict between these concepts, although a few short-sighted people want to see it in that way. I value my physical and psychological health, therefore I don't drink, don't smoke and use no drugs, coffee and chocolate included. I love art, and I used to paint, practice sculpturing with different materials (marble, clay/ceramic etc.), play percussions, do prose and physical/dance theatre etc. I actively practice sports, mostly swimming, running, cycling, but also rock climbing and most non-motorized watersports, such as sailing and windsurfing. Yoga is also an excellent completion for both my spiritual growth as well as for my freediving and swimming practice. I read and study a lot, as have a really broad range of interests, from science to spirituality and sustainable living, and currently I am actively studying renewable energy technologies. In a not too far future, I would like to set up a vegan-eco community, fully off-grid and coupled with a permaculture project, in some tropical coastal areas, where to propose freediving, among other sustainable activities, as a way to get in intimate and respectful contact with the ocean. |

| I'm Looking For |
| I am here to meet new vegan friends, at least as a start. I have very few really good friends, which are not vegans anyway. I am quite picky in choosing people that I can consider as friends, and even pickier when it comes to anything beyond friendship. What I value the most in other persons are sensitivity and empathy. I think that being highly intelligent, and at the same time arrogant, or presumptuous, or selfish, is totally useless, as intellectual skills cannot derogate emotional intelligence and capacity of sensing other people's inner needs. I am therefore looking for someone, initially for simple friendship, who give no importance to material things, appearances, wealth etc., and on the contrary value human relations above anything else. At the same time love for nature, and possibly for the ocean, is one of the important features that would make someone suitable for a close friendship. Finally, I do appreciate creativity, a witty sense of humor and good mood, capacity about laughing at oneself, the willingness of changing own ideas and opinions in front of new evidence or logic, critical thinking and a non-dogmatic mindset. |
