I am intelligent, confident, and optimistic. I have an excellent sense of humor (everyone thinks they do, I know) and I am a bit silly (but it is a smart silly - not a stupid silly). I am a vegan and think green. I am spiritual but not religious. I am grateful to have a loving family and good friends. I am complete by myself and I do not feel like I am missing something by being single.
And You? I am attracted to vivacious people who are young at heart and mind. You do not NEED to be in a relationship but realize that it is an amazing opportunity for personal growth. You have the ability to love unconditionally. You are not a brainwashed consumer looking for a large shiny rock.
I wear many hats. I am an artist. I am an electronic musician. I used to work for a pro audio company that makes synthesizers but now I work as a manager at a country club.. I also do graphic design, sound design, and make abstract sculptures out of paper mache.
Read - I mostly read magazines and periodicals. For books it's always non-fiction. I like to stay up on current events.
Movies - I like good movies of any genre, but even cheesy movies can be fun if watched with the right person (#NightFlight!). I like to watch documentaries of all kinds, too.
TV - I like smart ensemble comedies like Arrested Development, The Office and 30 Rock. I also watch Weekend Tonight, Adult Swim. I also spend a lot of time watching educational videos online.
Music - Here we go... I love music and listen to a wide range of things: Air, Beatles, TMBG, Freezepop, DEVO, Tycho, William Orbit, Underworld, Catherine Wheel, Bowie, Orbital, Ulrich Schnauss, David Byrne, Brian Eno, Hybrid, Curve, Ween, Peter Gabriel, Laurie Anderson, Boards of Canada, Plaid, Adam Freeland, Beck, Royksopp, Gary Numan... cool rock, funk, breaks, tech house, electro, synthpop, ambient, electronica, shoe-gaze, experimental, punk, 80s, classic rock, glitch, IDM... so many styles. I like music when it does what it should do. Music is very important to me but it is okay if we do not have the same tastes.
Radio - I listen to NPR, KCRW, KPCC, or KPFK mostly. Morning Becomes Eclectic, All Things Considered, The Moth, Snap Judgement, This American Life, Wait, Wait... Alan Watts!
Video Games - I do not let my ship get captured in Galaga but it is okay if you do. |
