| I have been vegetarian and/or vegan for more than 30 years and am currently strictly vegan. Through the years, I have admired and strived to protect animals, which has strongly influenced my dietary choices. I also try to stay physically and mentally fit through regular exercise, and my healthy vegan diet contributes to my overall fitness. |

| I’m an optimistic and happy person. Kind, creative, intellectually curious and a bit of a smartass are other descriptions that fit me rather well. My diverse background includes extensive periods of time living outside of the United States, part time gigs performing standup comedy around LA beach towns and surviving a stint as an over-educated snob. My hair is carefully arranged in a fashionably disheveled bouquet of homegrown dreadlocks. I smile and laugh frequently, and sometimes I can be heard singing Spanish love songs aloud. |
