| I lead a "whole food plant based" lifestyle. I adopted this lifestyle about two years ago after circling it for quite a long time. I did it at first for health reasons, wanting to make sure I am around for my family, though have quickly adopted the environmental and ethical reasons. |

| I’m a single dad of three fantastic girls (14 (who says she is the best), 10 (who thinks she is better), and 6 (who is just the cutest)). My life is about learning and growing. I am constantly trying to learn new things and make myself better. I lead a “whole food plant based” lifestyle, and I love running and reading. I have been cooking since I was 3, yes, you read that correctly. I like to try new recipes and cook for people who are open to new tastes. I am constantly reading and listening to podcasts. I'm an official Extreme Book Nerd three years running. Things I love: Hummus; Musicals; Superhero movies (Deadpool is my spirit animal, to use the current vernacular); Hard rock covers; Books on psychology; Libraries; Going barefoot outdoors; Swings in the park; Peanut Butter; Doctor Who; Dad jokes. Not for me: Watching sports (unless it is in person and then I am people watching); Mowing the lawn; Anything showy for the sake of being showy; Ignorance; Mac and Cheese (according to my 6-year-old). I am a teacher by trade, though I only teach part time currently. I am particularly interested in social issues, such as LGBTQ rights, Climate Change, Animal Rights, etc. I’d love to find someone who is committed to helping make the world better. |
