| I have been a lacto-vegetarian my whole life. The factory farming process opened my eyes to the kind of cruelty that animals and birds are subjected to. I view all of nature's creations (animals, birds and others) as sentient beings with varying capabilities according to the kind of physical frame that each one is endowed with. While I dont consider myself an activist, I do try to bring animal abuse issues to light during the conversations with friends and relatives and let the word spread. I am a practising Hindu and as a person, I am somewhat an introvert. I try to look at people from a spiritual perspective. I do believe that each one is on a path towards something that many call self-discovery, but from varying perspectives. I am not a confrontationalist but I hold steadfast to certain life principles. |
