| Why I'm Vegan |
| I am vegan purely out of compassion for animals. It just happens to be a plus that it's healthy. I can't understand how anyone could eat animals or animal products. To me the idea is just as absurd as the idea of cannibalism. I've been vegetarian 50 years and vegan 39 years. |

| I'm passionate about animals. I have strong progressive beliefs. I'm a great listener and friend. I'm originally from the east coast. I have a professional career and work a lot. I am interested in finding good connections and friendships first and foremost. I know few vegans and would really like to have more vegan friends. From there, perhaps, a long-term loving, caring partnership would be welcome as well. Note: I find the questionaire a bit misleading. To be more accurate: my ethnicity is Jewish, though I am not religious. I choose to not be a biological parent, however, I am open to other people's kids. And to me, family includes non-human animals. |

| What is important to me is progressively minded individuals, i.e. feminists - pro women's rights, human and civil rights, animal rights and the environment (that's a lot of "rights" for someone who is politically "left" ). People who are vegan and kind to animals, who are honest, self-reflective, reliable and trustworthy, who have integrity and good communication skills. |
