| -Critical thinker —with a good amount of passion to temper that, I hope. I admire and appreciate intelligence in other people, and I strive to keep my mental instrument sharp. Human knowledge? By now, rather sceptical about a lot of it. -Quite active, I cycle everywhere and I'd be happy to hike to the top of a mountain any day. -I tend to get on pretty well with the mavericks of the world, perhaps because I am also unconventional and an unrepentant dissident. -Do you like travelling, building things, learning about yourself and the universe, listening to beautiful music, riding bikes and motorbikes, growing veg, looking at the full moon and the dawning sun, caring and protecting nonhuman (and human) animals, and getting up every day with fire in your heart?... I like that too! -Regarding religion... I am very careful about not using 'faith' as a substitute for understanding. True that faith gives a lot of comfort, but that is not what I am after. There is a way, I think, to 'benefit' as it were from religions, because they can inspire and bring some light into ethics; however, strict adherence to any religion probably means you'd like someone who share the same beliefs, and I cannot be that someone :) -Another controversial topic: vaccinations and Covid. I happen to have some formal studies on healthcare. I know the current orthodox medical paradigm well, and I don't support it except in a few specific instances. So, I'm not vaccinated with the new technology. |
