| Why I'm Vegan |
| I switched to a vegan diet fifteen years ago because I did feel a change was necessary in my life at that point in time. Even though it was mainly a simple health challenge at first, my motivations to stick to this diet evolved and became more complex over time. Nowadays, I am a passionate vegan for Mother Nature's sake first and foremost, for the well-being of her most vulnerable children as a close second, and, last but not least, for my own welfare since the very beginning. This change revealed to be one of the best decision of my entire life and one of the few that I do not regret. |
| More About Me |
| At an occupational level, I am an undergraduate student who is at the beginning of their university journey. I am currently pursuing two academic programmes, which are Translation, on one hand, and East Asian Studies, on the other hand. Once I complete my bachelor's degree, I intend on becoming a translator who will be capable of coming up with top-quality French renditions of texts originally written in English, German, and Mandarin Chinese. Although I still have a long way to go to learn the two latter tongues, I am more than confident in my capacities to achieve these two linguistic goals. At a personal level, I am an avid gamer, doubled with a reader. Even though my preference goes to fantasy universes, I do enjoy a steampunk world from time to time. When I am not exploring a virtual reality, I can be found cooking vegan meals, accoomplishing daily tasks, taking long walks in nature, or indulging a ride on my bicycle. As a side note, I feel obliged to specify that the above occupations are only true when I still have time for myself, which is alas a rare luxury during the school terms. |
| I'm Looking For |
| I am looking for both friends and a soulmate at the moment. Either of them should be at least vegetarian dietwise, because I do want to feel a sense of belonging with someone sharing the same core values. Apart from that, and from the usual non-negotiable criteria (intelligent, humorous, different/one-of-a-kind/unique, respectful, loyal, and committed to name only these few), I would like for my future friends and soulmate to be willing to do all they can to preserve our planet from harm. There is no need for us to be perfect, but we should definitely strive to reach that supposedly unattainable objective. Let us dream big, because, after all, is the sky not the limit? Note: Anyone interested in becoming my partner in crime should be aware that they will first need to be my friend. I require that step to assess if I want more from the relationship, for it to evolve further. I am truly sorry for the inconvenience, but that is how things must unfold with me.
