| Why I'm Vegan |
| I switched to a vegan diet sixteen years ago because I did feel a change was necessary in my life at that point in time. Even though it was mainly a simple health challenge at first, my motivations to stick to this diet evolved and became more complex over time. Nowadays, I am a passionate vegan for Nature's sake first and foremost, for the well-being of her most vulnerable children as a close second, and, last but not least, for my own welfare since the very beginning. This change revealed to be one of the best decision of my entire life and one of the few that I do not regret. |
| More About Me |
| At an occupational level, I used to be, until pretty recently, an undergraduate student who is at the beginning of their university journey. I was pursuing two academic programmes, which are Translation, on one hand, and East Asian Studies, on the other hand. Once I complete my bachelor's degree, I intend to become a translator who will be capable of coming up with top-quality French renditions of texts originally written in either English or German, at the very least. At the time being, though, I definitely do need to re-evaluate my professional objectives. At a personal level, I am an avid gamer, doubled with a reader. Even though my preference goes to fantasy universes, I do enjoy a steampunk world from time to time. When I am not exploring a virtual reality, I can be found cooking vegan meals, accomplishing daily tasks, taking long walks in nature, or indulging a ride on my bicycle. As a side note, I feel obliged to specify that the above occupations are only true when I still have time for myself, which is alas a rare luxury during the school terms. |
| I'm Looking For |
| I am only looking for friends at the moment. They should be at least vegetarian diet-wise, because I do want to feel a sense of belonging with someone sharing the same core values. Apart from that, and from the usual criteria that are non-negotiable (intelligent, humorous, different/one-of-a-kind/unique, respectful, loyal, and committed to name only these few), I would like for my future friends to be willing to do all they can to preserve "our" planet from harm. There is no need for us to be perfect, but we should definitely strive to reach that supposedly unattainable objective. Let us dream big, because, after all, is sky not the limit? |
