| I've been vegan for over 30 years. I became vegan for animal protection reasons, and I spent much of my career working for animals. I don't want my food choices to cause suffering for anybody. Going vegan was the best decision I ever made. |

| Politically, I am a Democrat. I listen to a wide variety of music, but I definitely grew up as a deadhead. As a kid, I was also a punk rocker. I often went to see bands like Patti Smith and Television at places like CBGBs in New York City, and I saw lots of Springsteen shows. But the Grateful Dead have been ever present in my life, and I still listen to them often. |

| It would be nice to find a vegan or even a vegetarian to fall in love with. But I have done that before and it did not work, so I am trying to be more flexible. |
