| Why I'm Vegan |
| I'm Vegan for ethical reasons, and have been for 4 years (lacto-ovo-vegetarian for 2 years before that). However, environmental benefits are also compelling. My biggest regret is not becoming vegan sooner. But with a plan to live to 100, I should be able to have been vegan for more than half my life when it's all over! |
| More About Me |
| I am a person who is trying to figure out how to live life ethically and sustainably and healthy-ly. Veganism addresses all 3, but most importantly the ethical angle. My desire to live sustainability means that I try not to drive gas cars, and generally reduce my carbon footprint. Recently, I've been walking a lot -- 10k-20k steps per day, which I'm enjoying. It gives me activity as well as time to think, and look around. In the near future, I'd like to be a digital nomad, traveling around permanently. I love sailing although I don't do it as often as I want to...working on that! Yoga, check. Meditation, check. Love to tell jokes - everything (almost) has a funny side. Party trick: spinning a book on my finger. Not republican. Not democrat either. Not a TV watcher. Camping yes! Cold showers/plunges YES! |
