| I am vegan for ethical reasons, because it is the right thing to do. My primary drivers were initially environmental, however reducing harm to others was a big part of my initial motivation as well. |
| More About Me |
| I was retired, and unretired because I wanted the challenge, so I am back doing IT. I have done extensive travelling, and plan to do more. Wanting to do at least one trip to Antarctica and would love to share that experience. I am intellectually curious, with a scientific/mathematical brain. A lot of my preferred activities revolve around being outdoors, and include bushwalking, camping and kayaking. Not as hardcore as I was in my 20s, but a combination of better equipment being available and experience means I still enjoy going out. Indoors I like board games, am into sci fi and playing music. My best instrument is the ukulele, because the sound makes me happy (which means I play it more) and because I always take one when travelling. I had a youtube channel as the itinerant ukulele, but haven't added anything to this in a long time. Probably I need some encouragement. (Over the last couple of years I have picked up some proper microphones so any future videos would sound better) |

| I have found my soul mate. Basically remaining here to connect with Vegans in general. I like catching up with people around the world. Especially musicians or creative types where we can share some music, or people who would like to explore the outdoors. I have friends I walk and kayak with, but it would be better if we had the same food. |
