Because he was such a kind person!

Perhaps his early passing was due to this causal relationship.
I understand very well how the law of attraction works.
When you're happy,
The vibration you emit attracts things related to happiness.
When you're sad, you attract similar things that make you sad.
When you're angry, you attract similar things that make you angry.
... and so on.
So, to have a fulfilling life, the vibration you emit is crucial!
You can be sad, but don't let it persist for too long.
Learn how to transform sadness into strength.
When you're feeling down, realize that
Most people don't know how to control their emotions.
If you could handle it with a relaxed attitude, they wouldn't affect you.
Impermanence is a normal part of life; there's no need to lament it.
The important thing is to accept impermanence and strive to do what you love.
It will make you want to live a more meaningful, fulfilling, and joyful life!

Strive to live a simple, nonmaterialistic, meaningful, and purposeful life. I'm a Luddite at heart, reminiscing about the halcyon days when we weren't overdependent on technology. I embrace sechel, not artificial intelligence, and modesty, not social media. 不患莫己知，求为可知也。"Don't fret about not being well-known; instead, strive to be worthy of being known" (Analects, book 4, verse 14). Jewish ideals inform and guide in all aspects of life. These include honesty and evenhandedness, including not saying anything essentially true but meant to mislead (as in PR/marketing/media); not hurting people's feelings or saying negative things about them; giving others the benefit of the doubt and the opportunity to do the right thing; having a higher purpose in life, including work; and learning for the sake of learning, including from everyone! Enjoy hiking, being in nature, lizard-watching, learning, artistic creativity, and dry and waggish humor (but not sarcasm). Adventurous but also risk-averse.

Hello veg friends!
Long time vegan living with a couple rescue guinea pigs in the DMV area. After around twenty years in the IT sector, I am transitioning to law. So I have a job as a paralegal but it's not too demanding and gives me some free time. As an introvert, I've found myself a bit a of a homebody over the past few years. Though I enjoy getting vegan food at various places in the DMV, primarily VA, like Loving Hut, Sunflower, and Chay Vegetarian.
I'm a lefty and will certainly get along with other people who are or lean left. I don't believe that animals are "things" and should have as much rights as people. I was at the march for Sanity, I've seen Colbert live, and willing to go to the occasional protest.
Some video games I'm playing include Final Fantasy 14, Warframe, and Elden Ring. I'm not great, but good enough to do some end game content. Maybe you could introduce me to a game or play with me sometime? It's a nice way to relax a bit.

I'm a small business owner and I LOVE my profession. It makes me INCREDIBLY HAPPY... but sometimes (mostly seasonally) I work insanely long hours, and I need someone who is understanding of this. I don't see myself relocating my business.
Life is good. :) I have small close group of lifelong friends that are my chosen family. Several of them are vegan who also love to cook, so our gatherings always include lots of vegan food. Together we often enjoy board games, card games, escape rooms, bocce, and campfires.
A few of years ago I met a small group of compassionate people through a mindfulness based meditation group. Together we started a small community giving-garden. It's a project that is close to my heart, and I donate time there at least once a week sometimes more. I grew up in Ohio and lived in Utah and California before moving to New York and recently moved back to Ohio. I have been vegan since September 2008 (vegetarian about a year and a half before switching). I have worked helping animals for the past 13+ years. I started as an adoption counselor at a humane society in Ohio, than a dog caregiver at a large sanctuary in Utah, and for over 8 years I was a caregiver for farm animals at a sanctuary. I have a degree in Criminal Justice, but after a few years realized that helping animals was the direction I wanted to go with my career and life, and I haven't had any regrets. I like to be active and keep in decent shape; not buff, but not pudgy either… kind of a happy medium! I like to do things outdoors and be active, but I have to admit I can Netflix Binge with the best of them, or spend an entire day moving from couch, to chair, to lawn chair, to bed, and back to the couch reading good a book. I’m pretty middle of the road politically. I used to lean more to the right, but now lean more to the left. I strongly believe in doing what we can to minimize climate change. I spend most of my time in El Paso where i work, but also own a home in Albuquerque where my two of my children live. I visit them every few months. I also have a daughter in Minneapolis and a son in Virginia Beach who I visit once or twice a year. I would love to travel more but work gets in the way. My ‘plan’ is to cut back to 20 hrs/week at age 62 and I’m on track to meet that goal. I’m excited and apprehensive about it at the same time. I sooo want to work less, but I sooo sooo don’t want to be bored. I think going part-time will be a good stepping stone for me, and will give me more time to travel. In the meantime, I’m just enjoying my job and interacting with my clients and co-workers and visiting my kiddos when I can.

Musician, thinker, and occasional over-analyser (the good kind). I’m curious about people, language, and what makes life tick—but I also know how to switch it off and just enjoy the moment.
I travel a fair bit and fall for the little things—good coffee, unexpected views, conversations that actually go somewhere. Not materialistic, just quietly observant and aware of the world around me.
I play guitar well, sing… with conviction, and I’m slowly finding my way around the piano. Give me a spark and I’ll probably turn it into a song—fair warning, I tend to feel things properly when I write.
I’m learning Spanish and love words, so yes—there’s a bit of a sapiosexual streak. A sharp mind, a touch of wit, someone who can keep up? Very attractive.
I don’t click with everyone, but when I do, it’s real. I’m warm, affectionate, a bit of a romantic… and I like looking after my person.

I was a social worker for nearly 20 years. I’ve always worked with children. I have a strong sense of wanting to help others. I’m currently working in children’s mental health. Despite it being a very full on job, which I absolutely love, I can switch off in the evening.
I have a strong sense of right and wrong and I do my own research. I’ve known for a long time that what we’re told about government, big pharma and multi conglomerate corporations isn’t the truth. It therefore won’t be a surprise to read that I have chosen not to poison myself with a vaccination. I’ve spoken out about this a lot over the last 5 years and lost a lot of friends. I’m okay with that. We all have to take a stand for what we believe is right.
There are two things I can’t compromise on; I won’t go out with anyone who eats animals and I can’t see myself with someone who willingly chooses to turn a blind eye to what’s happening in the world and the freedoms being removed from us. Beyond that, I’m open!

Happy Vegan taking care of 3 dogs whom I rescued and love so much. I also will stop the car if I see a lost dog. Bring him home..bathe him...feed him...make fliers...try to find his guardians. I also match up people who post on craigslist that they lost a dog and another person post the same picture of a dog they found. I love when that happens...of course I have a list of questions and offer recommendations so this does not happen again. Wait here's the thing--if there is a lost dog in my neighborhood...well many times I will just open the front door and there he will be. Dogs just know that my house is where they will find safety and love.
like to stay in more than go out...but once out I'm happy. Dancing is one of my favorite activities and raising global consciousness is amazing.
I like to get up early and GO...to the gym...hike or walk my dogs 'round the 'hood. I'm a morning person. No coffee required--wheat grass, water w/Liquid Chlorophyll and I make the best raw Oatmeal.

I get the most fulfillment from simply connecting with other beautiful souls - getting to know and appreciate them without selfish ego agendas.
