Having just read my previous profile I wonder how I ever came to write those words. What mood was I in when I woke that morning? However, this is me today, writing a brief account of myself - not easy!! Tomorrow, who knows - quiet, joyful, pensive, thoughtful, happy, sad, funny, silly, confident- sometimes not so. What do they say about variety?
Having reached some degree of maturity(not quite 100)and looked at myself from many angles, and tried to view myself through other peoples eyes, I may now be qualified to give some sort of account of myself.
Although life has not always been easy,I am naturally happy and optimistic. Understanding and appreciating rather than criticising. Smiling and laughing - especially at myself - rather than looking at life from a grim perspective.
Always the adventurous explorer -yes still,not yet ready to accept limitations - I like discovering and learning about new places, people/cultures, ideas. I enjoy/appreciate the arts. Love nature in all it's diversity - and of course animals.

Lived life, love life and am pretty balanced on the work and enjoyment front. Running my dog next to a river looking up at the mountains is awesome. I sit politically progressive, and because I love (i.e. respect) animals, I live a vegan lifestyle. I'm animated and outgoing, enjoy mountain biking, rock climbing, hiking and dancing, but I also do enjoy cooking at home and just relaxing. Staying fit and eating healthy is a way of life for me. I travel up and down California for my career which I really enjoy. Life is great! What's missing is the right lady to be the light of my life. One and one makes much more than two. Being self-employed, I make my own schedule so I can arrange time for togetherness.

I don't mind spending some time in the kitchen… but it’s more fun cooking with a friend! I love trying out new recipes, but a few favorites include: hoisin-mustard tofu lettuce wraps, tofu bahn mi, sweet potato and black bean enchiladas, zucchini malai kofta, roasted Brussels sprouts, and I make a mean tofu scramble. My current obsession is Indian food. I don't love doing the dishes. :p
Recently I've discovered the joy of living minimalisticly. I've learned that letting go of things that no longer serve me leads to serenity.
I'm a small business owner and I LOVE my profession. It makes me INCREDIBLY HAPPY... but sometimes (mostly seasonally) I work insanely long hours, and I need someone who is understanding of this. I don't see myself relocating my business.
Life is good. :) I have small close group of lifelong friends that are my chosen family. Several of them are vegan who also love to cook, so our gatherings always include lots of vegan food. Together we often enjoy board games, card games, escape rooms, bocce, and campfires.
A few of years ago I met a small group of compassionate people through a mindfulness based meditation group. Together we started a small community giving-garden. It's a project that is close to my heart, and I donate time there at least once a week sometimes more. I love getting my hands in the dirt, learning about gardening, and donating the fruits of our labor to feed the hungry.
