I am definitely an animal lover and I don’t eat any of them. I’m the guy pulling over to help a turtle cross the road and get safely to the other side. The call of the loon or an owl are a couple of my favourite sounds.
I would describe myself as optimistic and have been known to say that my glass is ¾ full. I enjoyed my career and worked hard, but I always tried to take time for the fun things in life as I believe a healthy balance between work and play is very important. In my free time I enjoy golf, water-skiing, kayaking, walking through the forest, relaxing in my hammock, or reading a good book by the fire. I love to travel and have been fortunate enough to see some awesome places. Visiting the Arctic was an amazing experience, as was Africa and Australia to name a few. Hawaii is a favourite destination and I return there each year to do some volunteer work to raise funds for local Maui charities.
