New to the Phoenix area. I am impressed with the oodles of plant-based options in the area; however, I do wish there were healthier plant-based options amongst the upper echelon of dining establishments.

I'm retired, vegetarian since 1994, care about my health and the that of the planet and it's inhabitants. I'm non-materialistic, a skilled craftsman, adore animals, love to be outdoors exploring the Earth and it's cultures. Since retiring in 2020 I have filled some of my time with Australian Shepherd rescue and fostering, currently five in my home only one is a foster. ;)

Hello veg friends!
Long time vegan living with a couple rescue guinea pigs in the DMV area. After around twenty years in the IT sector, I am transitioning to law. So I have a job as a paralegal but it's not too demanding and gives me some free time. As an introvert, I've found myself a bit a of a homebody over the past few years. Though I enjoy getting vegan food at various places in the DMV, primarily VA, like Loving Hut, Sunflower, and Chay Vegetarian.
I'm a lefty and will certainly get along with other people who are or lean left. I don't believe that animals are "things" and should have as much rights as people. I was at the march for Sanity, I've seen Colbert live, and willing to go to the occasional protest.
Some video games I'm playing include Final Fantasy 14, Warframe, and Elden Ring. I'm not great, but good enough to do some end game content. Maybe you could introduce me to a game or play with me sometime? It's a nice way to relax a bit.

I was born and raised in Hawai’i. I love the ocean. Probably a bit too much. I’ve built my career on it. I started working as a divemaster then became a scuba instructor and am now a boat captain. When I’m not working on the water I’m either free diving, snorkeling, bodyboarding or hiding in my room watching tv and playing video games.
I also love to walk, I try to walk at least 5 miles everyday. I’ve recently started running again (my cardio is terrible right now). I go to the gym at least 4 times a week. I have a rock climbing membership (there’s also a gym inside the same building) and a planet fitness membership. I love exercising but that’s not my whole personality.
I talk to my parents at least once a week haha. They live on a different island so I enjoy updating them on the crazy things that happen in my life and I like to hear their updates on everything. My dad and I can talk about movies or tv shows for hours!
I have a really good friend group that I love! We hangout and do things with each other all the time. They are all my co-workers so when we aren’t working with one another we are playing secret hitler or DND at one of our houses together. One of my friends/co-workers is my roommate.
We live in a cozy 2 bedroom apartment with his fat cat. The cat guards the refrigerator 24/7.

I guess .. My Type Of Personality .. is not very common and very recently I found out that It Is Called : ..
