Astronomer, Vegan since 1980s, from England, have travelled much. Interested in astronomy since an early age and have now worked over 20 years in galaxy evolution research, in several countries including USA and Portugal. After an unexpectedly long period of unemployment, during which I did WWOOF (organic growing) volunteering, and animal rights activism in the Liverpool area (kind of where my journey started), I got a job offer 2021 and took up the research again, this time in Granada, Spain (may return to UK sometime 2023).
