I enjoy simple things in life very much, helping people and being helped too at times.
Dancing is something I enjoy and I am excited about opening up my singing voice much more.
I work with a charity for people with disabilities-helping people to have fun, exercise and learning experiences on bikes! also I am a massage therapist and work in the mountains as a wild crafter at times.
One of my favorite things to do is be in water, in the ocean, a lake, river or creek. I have had the pleasure of living in situations where I could do that daily, I really wish this again in my life and sharing this is really fun too.
As a teenager I made it my intention to live a life in which I did not look forward to getting drunk on the weekend, I never want to wish any of my working days to hurry up and finish-that would be wishing part of my life away and I realised that long ago too. I think I have been very successful up to now in avoiding such ways by enjoying doing different types of work which i get paid and different types of work I don't get paid for-I don't have chores as i enjoy cleaning and getting food and other life activities, I enjoy a lot of things I do, seeing them as valuable in themselves as experiences. I have loved working with kids and wish to do this a lot more.
I love mending, making and repurposing things and practices of living simply. I have done some talks and a few articles on this subject. In many ways I live simply, this primarily being so others can simply live; and I earn less, buy less,trash less and because of this I think I have a beautiful life in many ways.
Recently I have started speaking in schools about animal rights.
I really like riding my bike too :)

My name is Tony and I have been a committed vegetarian for many years now. I believe myself to be an honest, sensitive and caring man who has a very positive outlook on life, even in times of adversity. I've been a vegan for over half my life now! Although I don't consider myself to be of any particular religion, I love learning about various religions - Buddhism in particular. Hello there. I’m going to say right up front that I’m not interested in sex. If you are reading my profile looking for a potential sexual liaison then you are wasting your time. And mine.
I live and work near Carson City Nevada. Its normally a desert like climate, hot and dry. It’s near the Sierra Mountains, though, so we get winter weather, rain and snow. Lake Tahoe is about an hour away so we also get the tourists and crowds and traffic that go along with that. The ski resorts, such as Squaw Valley, draw the same in the winter months.
I’m drive truck for a construction company to pay my bills and keep me and my little black cat, Babushka, in kibble. I rent my small, one bedroom cabin, from my sister. She lives next door and we help one another out in various ways, such as taking turns pushing the trash bin to the curb for pickup.
I’m live a mostly vegan lifestyle. Which makes me a bit different than most around here. I don’t attend events which exploit animals. I don’t go to circuses, rodeos, Sea World, chili cook-offs, traditional barbecues, horse races, animal exhibits, you get the idea. I’ll add more to this later.
