  1. VegInNotOut   Read the sickening news out of EU about "foot-and-mouth" disease, which I first thought was intended to be a dig at Trump for his "foot in mouth" disease... I wonder if the genpop will ever get it, that all of that carnage and spread of disease is so easily avoided with a simpler, healthier and less expensive plant diet.

MilwaukeeProf   It seems so many of these plagues have their origins from humans mistreating, killing and eating other animals: *Covid 19,a bat disease, from Chinese "wet markets" selling bats in filthy cages to people who eat bats *Bird flu *Ebola, another bat virus also found in chimps *HIV/AIDS,a virus found first in chimps and spread to and by people butchering and eating chimps *Pandemic flus outbreaks of 1918, 1957 and 1958 *Swine flu "When will they ever learn?"- Pete Seeger

  3. MilwaukeeProf   Found another one! Monkey pox,now called "mpox" to make it sound more attractive and less shameful, was first discovered in monkeys being used for research back in the 1950s. Why were they experimenting on animals? The belief about this disease is that the origin was rodents who passed it to monkeys and now,again because of our own rotten actions, it is found among humans.
