I pretend we're ten years in the future, and I try to live and eat like that was true. I am a long term vegetarian, and I have been very healthy and lucky my whole life. I have a Master's degree from the U of A, but I feel like I am really self-educated, and I am well read on many subjects. I love modern everything - architecture, cars, clothes, furniture, Macintosh computers. When I was a teenager, my heros were not sports stars or GI Joe, but the astronauts, JFK, and the Beatles.
Never married, I have no children or pets. I have no "baggage". But I do love women, children, and (other people's) animals. I would like to meet a like-minded girlfriend, who can share some my passions. When it comes to travel, I like Asia, but next I would like to see Europe and Scandinavia.
I never watch sports on TV, and I go to live sporting events only rarely, just to enjoy the spectacle. After the game, I might not know who won. If I never golf, that would be too soon. I would much rather go to a concert, museum, event, or just a walk in the desert.
I live in a high-rise in downtown Tempe. I drive an electric Chevy Volt. I can WALK to restaurants, theaters, bookstores, banks, and take the light rail to the airport.

I Lived in Canada for Twenty years and some years in the US . I had worked in the Arts in many Mediums while in Canada. National Parks! Like to see all of them before they Disappear! Hoping to visit friends a catching up in the Southern States, it has been a few years since i saw them last....better in person! this Fall 2019 ifal goes to plan, just short visits. While here in the UK, when ever i can get away for the weekend, Oxfordshire my old stomping ground, canal walks a must i do this when i can, train makes this trip easy to get to. Not driving at the moment! I would be doing longer distant trips places that are on my bucket list, Yorkshire Dales, Highlands - Scotland....mabe just all of it!! Waite a minute, maybe i should wait until i get more work hours!!! I work for a Care company part time at the moment and also a house sitter. In theory, I practice presence / mindfulness and try to avoid speaking through ego. In reality, I'm outwardly a normal human being, totally not perfect, and I have my unconscious moments, too.
It would be great to find someone who shares a similar desire to be more conscious and is willing to both give and take helpful reminders when we start to slip up. Finding someone truly interested in this has been rather difficult for me. It is something I have had a hard time finding through traditional dating sites, so hoping to have better luck here.

During the pandemic, I ran at least 10k every single day to avoid lockdown boredom in the steep Santa Cruz Mountains. I prefer to use natural healing for physical/mental health -- holistic medicine, diet, exercise, supplements, and meditation/present-mindedness to ease stress. I'm not on board with some pharmaceuticals used in conventional medicine that only treat symptoms!
