Bedridden by an accident for 2007, neurologists sentenced me to crutches for life. Their bleak prognosis to proposed spinal surgery was unacceptable! My response: diet, meditation, & 14-hour days of physical therapy. I can now walk all day, and run for hours. This characterizes my purpose, perseverance, & hard work -qualities I pledge to the longevity of our relationship and your happiness

A few words that would describe me are: Adventurous, Spontaneous, Curious, full of energy.. Im the guy that usually brings a cloth bag to go grocery shopping, to save a tree. I shop at farmers markets whenever I can to support local agriculture, and get a higher quality food. I grow my own food, and strive to eat from home garden as much as possible. I realize that the freshness and quality of the food really makes me feel more vibrant and present.

Traveling must be at the top of the list. Some places I have traveled.. Peru, Cyprus, Switzerland, Carribean, Fiji, Puerto Rico, Hawaii, Iceland, Spain, Italy, United Kingdom, Costa Rica, Canary Islands and around the USA.. I find it really interesting to experience cultures that are new to me, and to see the differences in how people live and how they act... I have come to realize that here in America, we generally live a much "faster paced" life with less traditions than some of the other cultures I have visited.
Other interests include outdoor interests including hiking, mountain biking, rollerblading, kneeboarding, snow skiing, rock climbing.. I also enjoy researching and learning about subjects that interest me. Im like a sponge and like to soak up information.
Im into reading and self-improvement. Im currently into Gardening and growing my own fruit and vegetables and wild edibles. Ever taste fresh Tamarillo or Magenta Lambs Quarter or Stevia? Delicious! Many times im quiet and just listening and learning.. unless you get me talking about something I know about.
I am a fix-it-guy, I have worked on remodeling/construction/cars/ electronical items, a tinkerer at heart.

Am kind, compassionate, open-minded, respectful, strong-willed (stubborn?) but accommodating, communicative (most times), funny, playful, irreverent, honest with integrity, affectionate and comfortable with intimacy. For me nothing is more spiritual than being out in the wilds of nature, backpacking or hiking in the mountains, the canyons of the Southwest, along the ocean, strolling in old growth forests, frolicking in the Himalayas. I'm definitely socially awkward, most probably on the autistic spectrum (self diagnosed).
I'm sober since September 22nd 2019, and intend on keeping it that way for the rest of my life.
I used to be a roadie as well as work at many festivals, you do the math...
I'm pretty sure I've consumed enough alcohol for a few lifetimes...
My main objective/aim is to live off the grid as much as possible, consciously living in harmony with nature and grow organic fruits and vegetables.
Treat mother nature the way she deserves to be treated, we are all a part of this magnificent world and we need to be more conscious, responsible and respectful towards our ecosystem.
Please don't discuss politics with me, for I'm disgusted by most politicians and current world politics in general...
My loyalty is only to this beautiful planet, and not to any specific country. I find Patriotism as a disease that hopefully will be eradicated with time.
It's a damn shame what we are doing to mother nature...

Originally from England, moved to sunny California in 1995. First the beach, now the beautiful and peaceful desert.
I am vegan, have been since I was 21. It’s important to me that my partner is also vegan, or at least willing to adopt this lifestyle. This simply means that I want my partner to be compassionate and empathetic with loving intentions for himself and everyone else, regardless of the species to which they were born.
Basically, my ideal life would be in a world where everyone is safe and happy. I know that may sound naive but I believe that love is the answer to pretty much everything. If everyone felt safe and loved I don’t see how they could be violent or selfish or unkind in any way. So this is why I’m so frequently ‘accused’ of being an idealist, although this is generally chosen as a word to make me feel less than realistic and therefore somewhat stupid, I always accept the label with happiness:)
I believe we are all connected, and that the majority of humans will awaken to this in my lifetime.
I love animals so much! They are complete love. They don’t hold onto anger or resentment like so many humans seem to do and are so very easy to be around:)
I don’t really have any hobbies, but I do work out and keep myself healthy, strong and fit. I love a good movie and like a very wide range of music. I love to spend time with friends, good conversation is awesome! I love to have fun, and laughter is the very best way I’ve found to do that:)
I work from home, which is wonderful, working in pajamas is so much better than in a suit! Plus the commute is easy:)
