Much has changed in my life in the past 5 years, and now I am looking forward to the age of retirement, in a country that has taken my money over the years and spent it elsewhere. So the coming “retirement” will be more of a reinvention as I move from the “Big City” to a more self sufficient lifestyle.
If you too are thinking of a plant-based life with less stress, communing with nature, and being more creative, we may have a connection and that would be great. Not talking off-grid, I have to have Internet and lights, just a much smaller community that still holds values I did 30-40 years ago.
So if you wanna chat and see where things go, the coffee/tea is on me.
Here is some things about me ... I dislike this part as is sounds like I'm boasting, and that is not normal for me. Here are some of the personal highlights of my 50 plus years off the top of my head, and things like education and employment are not in there ;)
- I have toured Europe, East and West, in the Early 80s in a punk band
- Have created sculptures and artwork that sold and is publicly displayed
- Worked as an assignment photographer for two newspapers and a news magazine
- Own my own record label, and have composed and recorded nine complete albums
- Along with friends, and supporters have started two totally different charities
- Built my own home from the ground up with my own hands
- Climbed Mount Kilimanjaro and slept with giraffes
- Cycled and walked across all of Europe
... and none of these, or any one thing in my past defines me, because I believe that every day is a new one that holds endless possibilities, fun and adventure. Most of all no one should ever be limited by anything. Given enough time, effort and determination human beings can do amazing things, all of us.

I'm a vegan with about 75% raw vegan. 25 years ago I thought most people would be vegetarian by now. Instead, there seem to be even fewer vegetarians these days, even with all the information out there supporting the choice.
I like to have fun out in the world but also being a "homebody" sometimes too. I love the mountains, forests and animals. My favorite place to be is in a thick evergreen forest.. So far I prefer home equipment over going to a gym but that might depend on having an exercise partner or not. I like to do a lot of different things, even if not that often such as bowling, miniature golf, skating, hiking, skiing. I'm also into astronomy, architecture and going to home shows. I have traveled a few different spiritual paths along the way but now am into pantheism (reverence to the universe). I would prefer a partner that I can converse about spirituality or God - even if we are not on the same path.
I do not like politics, nothing spiritual about that. Most politicians are corrupt regardless of the D or R party. I believe in the Constitution as-is. I am conservative (but not Republican...to me, there is a difference these days).
When newly connecting with someone I only message on this platform for a while (i.e. deterring the scammers and those that want to pretend "instant-boyfriend").
