I'm attracted to the simpler things in life. Food for example. I dream of food. I'm a voracious eater. I eat nourishing complex foods. I spend lots of time planning, shopping, prepping, cooking and eating delicious yummy foods. I love to entertain my friends (they're my family Stateside). Stimulating conversation and silly banter makes for lots of laughs and a life well lived.
I've never figured out work-life balance as I am my work. I love it but it's hard. On the upside, I'm flexible when it comes to travels.
I travel lightly. My home looks like I just moved in. As I deal in product I don't need much stuff. Easier to stay organized that way.
Putzing around a calm home helps me relax. I read, mess with the cat, take hot baths, drink a cup of tea, light a candle, catch a drama, documentary, Westworld, Indie or a foreign flick. I'm generally in bed early so I can work out the next day. For health and sanity.
I grew up internationally. SF is my home town - having lived here for 25 years - but high on my list is to visit Scandinavia part of the year. My parents are aging and my son lives there. It's a pretty nice place to be from... I would love to see more of the world as well. Searching for the next place to eat, finding street food, following in the footsteps of Haruki Murakami's and absorb the local culture from a cafe chair is good enough for me.

I am an adventurous, easy going guy who loves travels, nature, photography and experiencing new places and cultures...I'm a nature lover and an explorer by heart..(Recently I got back from a full year of traveling around Australia and New Zealand). When I wanna engage in less "dangerous" activities I like to relax at home and watch a good movie, preferably under blankets with my loved one :)

I get the most fulfillment from simply connecting with other beautiful souls - getting to know and appreciate them without selfish ego agendas. Astronomer, Vegan since 1980s, from England, have travelled much. Interested in astronomy since an early age and have now worked over 20 years in galaxy evolution research, in several countries including USA and Portugal. After an unexpectedly long period of unemployment, during which I did WWOOF (organic growing) volunteering, and animal rights activism in the Liverpool area (kind of where my journey started), I got a job offer 2021 and took up the research again, this time in Granada, Spain (may return to UK sometime 2023). I have met a few vegans here, and took part in a big march in Madrid against bullfighting. Interested in hill walking, running (I'm in Vegan Runners) , birdwatching, science fiction, vegan events (went to Vegan Campout), environment activism, some live music, but I do suffer from anxiety and have not very much experience with dating.
