A tapestry of perspectives and playfulness intertwined with intrigue and bantering wit could describe the first melding of our colorful personalities. The next date might include a dash of romance over blackened rainbow trout (vegan option) sautued with garlic, lemon, Bragg and orange juice, with a side of artichoke and tantalizing veggies, followed by a board game in front of a cozy, crackling fire (winner tickles loser! ) and maybe a spontaneous beach stroll from my patio. It could be unforgettably romantic if in the company of my soulmate. I enjoy traveling and even traveled Europe for years. Unfortunately, it was the first two years of my life and I don't remember any of the sights! I feel comfortable with myself around others, but have found myself being a conformists in one breath and a rebel in the next. Friends say my greatest outer attributes are my enthusiasm and smile; still, on the inside, compassion and sincerity take precedence. What is your soulwater? Would you drink or swim in it, or would it be an occassional poem? Whatever the case, envision it better with me. What do you believe?
I don't believe I'll ever find the perfect person. Perhaps because, humans are flawed inherently. Just look around. The species is in turmoil.Our planet is dying because we won't learn how to live sanely.
Despite that I still want to find someone who is willing to couch their ego and identity so that we can explore together and separately what this life is..what it means.. I believe there is such thing as right relationship and there can be harmony between two people. If these kind of topics frighten you too much we probably wouldn't be a good match. I know it's hard to walk away from the superficial world. I know it's uneasy to look at the much deeper spiritual aspect of our lives and all that's unfolding.
Have you walked away from the madness? Have you ever thought about it? I think we are in a time where nature is calling for quiet reflection.
I enjoy this practice wether hiking, biking, swimming, wandering about aimlessly.. Do you have time for a relationship like this?It's a growing experience and does take some fortitude, curiosity, and strength.
If you'd like to talk about any of this I would be happy to as well. Just say something…it doesn't cost anything, and we've only got this one go round :)

I went vegan a little over 2 years ago. I've always been pretty healthy but this has been the healthiest thing I've ever done. Physically and emotionally-spiritually. I think this would be something that would eventually become a pre requisite to a long term relationship.
Quick note: Drugs-Alcohol is a drug. Often I'd rather indulge in a cannabis high than an alcohol buzz. That's all :)
Other stuff: I am pretty hands on type, I built my own house, work on my own car(to some degree), brew my own beer(been a while), play guitar, etc, I like doing those kinds of things.

Ive been working in the give and take gift economy since early 90's. When we set up regular market free stalls, and have been going ever since. Im proud of that. Most people think apples and pears arent mysterious and work like other plants and trees and people.

Right now? A snapshot of me is a bachelor with a bunch of cats. How i got here is a good story that i would love to share. I like to imagine that i am nearing the end of my work career, but i still enjoy my work. I am planning for a change after one more winter. I would love a more rural setting for my next career. So, "willing to relocate", but not just yet.
I love cooking for myself and others. Or, rather, i love eating delicious vegan fare. If i have to cook for one, i don't mind. It's going to be good. Recently added garden food to the menu and there is no going back. The quality of supermarket food is steadily dropping. So listen everyone; if your aim is for plant based diets to save the world, then promote local organic growing.
I recently decided to jump start my music interest. The saxophone had been collection dust since college, so i bought a guitar to try. You know, i think being able play chords is what i needed. I already have a huge fan in one of the cats. She thinks i'm pretty good.
