We had a very loving, conscious uncoupling divorce (Oct 3, 2018) and are co-parenting our four fabulous children, a 26-year old daughter (in grad school for Piano Performance) and three sons 20 (College), 17 (Senior at StatecArts School) and 13 (7th grade). All the boys also play piano and were or are in the MN Boychoir so I am blessed with lots of great music.

Lived life, love life and am pretty balanced on the work and enjoyment front. Running my dog next to a river looking up at the mountains is awesome. I am an author anthropologist who started my career working with gorillas and exploring gorilla culture. I eventually moved into other animal cultures academically. On a personal level I started my own Animal sanctuary for high needs animals and that lasted for 7 years. I am neurodivergent (I prefer the term neuroholographic) and now use what I've learned from animal culture to run a global program dedicated to exploring neurodiverse culture (2,400 members in 18 countries).
As part of that program I run a group exploring theoretical/holographic physics and I am eternally on fire when it comes to holographic / multiverse theories, the nature of time and space and constructing theoretical physical frameworks for the "paranormal."
I am privileged to have traveled the world, all continents with the exception of Antarctica, and while my education has been connected to academia the best learning is broad experience, iconoclastic thinking, and an autodidactic approach to all things.
I am a lifelong martial artist and have my own dojo, though I don't teach anymore after taking care of my aging parents until recently.

I was a social worker for nearly 20 years. I’ve always worked with children. I have a strong sense of wanting to help others. I’m currently working in children’s mental health. Despite it being a very full on job, which I absolutely love, I can switch off in the evening.
I have a strong sense of right and wrong and I do my own research. I’ve known for a long time that what we’re told about government, big pharma and multi conglomerate corporations isn’t the truth. It therefore won’t be a surprise to read that I have chosen not to poison myself with a vaccination. I’ve spoken out about this a lot over the last 5 years and lost a lot of friends. I’m okay with that. We all have to take a stand for what we believe is right.
There are two things I can’t compromise on; I won’t go out with anyone who eats animals and I can’t see myself with someone who willingly chooses to turn a blind eye to what’s happening in the world and the freedoms being removed from us. Beyond that, I’m open!

I travel lightly. My home looks like I just moved in. As I deal in product I don't need much stuff. Easier to stay organized that way.
Putzing around a calm home helps me relax. I read, mess with the cat, take hot baths, drink a cup of tea, light a candle, catch a drama, documentary, Westworld, Indie or a foreign flick. I'm generally in bed early so I can work out the next day. For health and sanity.
I grew up internationally. SF is my home town - having lived here for 25 years - but high on my list is to visit Scandinavia part of the year. My parents are aging and my son lives there. It's a pretty nice place to be from... I would love to see more of the world as well. Searching for the next place to eat, finding street food, following in the footsteps of Haruki Murakami's and absorb the local culture from a cafe chair is good enough for me.
