I have a lot of creative and artistic traits, but I'm also athletic and love playing sports. That might not sound so strange, but I don't know a lot of people who are equally passionate about being both physically active and artistic. I can be completely serious one minute and a complete goofball the next. As an INFJ, I have the rarest of all the Myers-Brigss personality types (we make up less than 1% of the population). I just finished my undergrad in Colorado when I was 29 and moved to the Pacific Northwest in August 2012. Obviously, I was a "non-traditional" student. I got a late start because when I was younger, I thought that I was going to work in the music industry in some capacity. I considered going to recording engineering school and luthier's school (to build guitars) while playing music in a little garage band, but I eventually decided that getting a degree was the best option for me. Now, I have a great job working for a vegan company.
I LOVE music (especially indie folk/rock). I know that everyone says they love music, but it truly is my greatest passion. I have a HUGE and ever-expanding music collection, and I always get excited about sharing my favorite music with willing victims. I make great mixtapes. Err... CDs. One of my favorite things to do is go to shows at smaller, more intimate venues. I like to play mellow, finger-picked instrumental songs on my acoustic guitar. My main instruments are guitar and bass, but I'm also learning to play didjeridu and mandolin. I'm always trying to get better at photography, too. I tend to be drawn to creative people and love talking about music and their other artistic passions with them.
I love cerebral independent/foreign films, documentaries, and silly/intelligent comedies. I enjoy red wine and good beer, but it's pretty rare for me to have more than 1-2 at a time. I can't stand bars unless I'm there to see a band or comedian.
I'm an aspiring world traveler. Life is short, and I want to see as much of the world as I possibly can! It's so damn expensive, though.

My current obsession is Indian food. I don't love doing the dishes. :p
Recently I've discovered the joy of living minimalisticly. I've learned that letting go of things that no longer serve me leads to serenity.
I'm a small business owner and I LOVE my profession. It makes me INCREDIBLY HAPPY... but sometimes (mostly seasonally) I work insanely long hours, and I need someone who is understanding of this. I don't see myself relocating my business.
Life is good. :) I have small close group of lifelong friends that are my chosen family. Several of them are vegan who also love to cook, so our gatherings always include lots of vegan food. Together we often enjoy board games, card games, escape rooms, bocce, and campfires.
A few of years ago I met a small group of compassionate people through a mindfulness based meditation group. Together we started a small community giving-garden. It's a project that is close to my heart, and I donate time there at least once a week sometimes more. I love getting my hands in the dirt, learning about gardening, and donating the fruits of our labor to feed the hungry.
