Trained as an engineer and a filmmaker in India and the United States. Changed a few hats professionally working in film, tv, real estate development, investigative journalism and grassroots animal welfare to discover the writer in me.
Now returning to the arts to heal my soul. Writing books and setting up a vegan publishing house.
Veganism, Sufism and Tantra are the three precious gifts life has bestowed upon me. Other interests include history, philosophy, psychology, alternative healthcare, mythology, sustainable living, music, fitness, mountains, trees, treks, waterfalls, road trips and all things magic.
Winding up a business in India to start a life of more conscious service and travels and here to find someone who would also like to do the same. The idea is to live more and more by guidance, travel but also find a vibrantly vegan spot to grow some roots. Long-term vision is to start an international chain of vegan community living projects.
Having a home in two different places in the world has always felt right to me. Not scared of distance or diversity. In fact, having a partner form a different cultural background can be a window into another world full of unique and beautiful perspectives which we might otherwise miss out on in our lives. Looking for a mix of some primal chemistry and long-term commitment to create a family with and put both of our dreams together brick by brick.
Very capable of socializing when I have to but really on the calmer side of life now and loving it. It would be nice to share that with you. If I've made myself sound too boring then yes I do have a more fun and slightly wild streak in me too. I am now saving that for my partner in crime. It's wonderful to live close to the sea in my house to the North and in my home in a green part of Copenhagen from where one can go to Sweden by one of the longest combined sea-crossings in the world.
The Nordic countries/Scandinavia is a great region (Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Island, Greenland and the Faeroe Islands). My mornings start out with some meditation, breathing exercises, Qi Gong, then a workout. I love creating things, whether it be digital or something eye-catching for the garden. I have a Master of Arts degree in Mathematics and one in Educational Technology. I fully retired from teaching in 2020. I’m the author of 12 books and manuals, mostly on computer-related topics.
I spend a lot of my time improving my garden when not out and about. It's a tranquil retreat with plenty of fruit trees, garden beds, and a hydroponic tower. There is also a tea house, a flowing stream, and plenty of seating areas.
I am passionate about promoting a plant-strong lifestyle through writing, hosting pot lucks, and networking. I discovered this way of eating in 2012, and it has given me a new lease on my health. I believe strongly that our society needs to move in that direction if we are to cure our chronic diseases, protect our environment, and reduce animal suffering.
