I'm also here because vegan women outnumber vegan men by about 4:1 (nice job, Ladies), so I want to try to help give those incredible women more romantic options to choose from. Evidence-based vegan, progressively political, into lifestyle medicine, and frugal would be a perfect match.

Hobbies include daily exercise (with full body resistance training every other day), consuming content from NPR (especially via KQED Radio) and the PBS Newshour, and pursuing opportunities to help better myself or support the world around me :). Other than that, though, I'm very open to new experiences or activities, too.
Native English speaker and somewhat proficient in Spanish. I'm always up for learning more languages, especially if it helps me communicate with you or your loved ones better.
I was formerly pre-health (medical/dental) and then switched to project management because it has allowed me to continue working with and spending time with my family.
Twenty years from now, when those family opportunities are less prevalent, I'll probably look to go back to school (ideally to study something to help reduce animal and/or environmental exploitation, although hopefully humans are no longer doing that 20 years from now :p) or look into more lucrative professional options (and donate any earnings beyond what I would hope to remain a fairly frugal lifestyle to high-impact charities promoting animal welfare.)
Those plans are definitely flexible, however, especially if that flexibility would help me to better support the happiness of a wonderful vegan partner :)

I’m a retired college professor, artist, and author looking for a compatible travel companion. I enjoyed 30 wonderful years with my wife who passed from cancer in 2019. Before she passed, she encouraged me to find a vegan travel partner. I've found fulfilling relationships, but still looking for a suitable travel partner.
I love gardening, writing, massage, cooking, and travel. Some of my favorite outings include gardens (especially in Maui!), live theater, theme parks, museums, and art shows. My mornings start out with some meditation, breathing exercises, Qi Gong, then a workout. I love creating things, whether it be digital or something eye-catching for the garden. I have a Master of Arts degree in Mathematics and one in Educational Technology. I fully retired from teaching in 2020. I’m the author of 12 books and manuals, mostly on computer-related topics.
I spend a lot of my time improving my garden when not out and about. It's a tranquil retreat with plenty of fruit trees, garden beds, and a hydroponic tower. There is also a tea house, a flowing stream, and plenty of seating areas.
I am passionate about promoting a plant-strong lifestyle through writing, hosting pot lucks, and networking. I discovered this way of eating in 2012, and it has given me a new lease on my health. I believe strongly that our society needs to move in that direction if we are to cure our chronic diseases, protect our environment, and reduce animal suffering.
Now that Covid has eased up, I’m looking forward to finding a compatible traveling companion with similar eating style.

After giving this some thought I came to a realization; Nothing I put here can tell you anything about me. Sure some very basic things but it would be like answering a complicated question with a simple answer. It's not that I am complicated either. There's more to me and you than "i'm a smart happy...etc"
If you want to know about me get to know me. Unfortunately you can't know about a person by just reading about them, especially if they are the Authors. As far as I'm concerned this section should be eliminated unless there's some proof of it's authenticity.
However some facts would help perhaps.
I don't drink alcohol( last time i did was 16 years ago), I don't smoke(last time i did was 13 years ago, I don't cuss( 4 years so far) And I am not a religion fanatic. Everything I am is because of my own will.
I don't have friends, though anyone can consider me their friend. I don't rely on anyone but my self. I enjoy my own company. Some people think that sounds lonely. But I think that maybe it's because they have a bit of loneliness in them.
I always have an open mind. I believe that's crucial in growing as a person. But I don't think of it as a ticket to do everything that you're curious about or everything others bring upon you.
But then again what do I know.

I love to dance to uplifting stuff ( eg 'The Gypsy Kings ) ,but I love beautiful classical music - my favourite piece is Camille Saint-Saens piano concerto No.2 in G minor - sometimes majestic, sometimes playful ( as in the 2nd movement) ! I had piano lessons as a child and reached a pretty good standard - then 'life' took over , though I'm determined to start playing again.

I am currently in Washington state, but not glued to my location. Would consider anywhere on the West Coast or possibly out of the country. I’m 37, atheist, don’t want children, left leaning but try not to follow politics for my own mental wellbeing. Was vegetarian for almost 10 years, then vegan for 5 and have gone back and forth between mostly plant based and vegan for the last 10 (I do currently eat honey and local ranch eggs as long as they are from free foraging chickens)

I’m really not a city person, but I do enjoy grabbing a drink or dinner downtown and watching live music. I am generally easy going, quick witted, a bit sarcastic and not at all politically correct, so I prefer those who don’t take themselves or life too seriously to laugh at it all.
I would love to convert a school bus into a badass off grid mobile home and travel all over the US and elsewhere. I haven’t worked out any of the details yet, nor do I have the skills to do a DIY conversion, but a girl can dream 🤣 It would be really cool to potentially find a partner with a shared interest in such an endeavor and make this a reality!
