I have been a vegetarian since 18 years old, vegan for last 12 years.
I love cooking, movies, British tv drama, music, reading books, photography, gardening, skateboarding, hang out with friends, sewing, bicycling, and play with cats.
I'm interested in vegan macrobiotic food, making miso, tofu, shoyu, umeboshi ang grow mushrooms.
I try not to choose to buy china or sweat made products even if they are vegan/ vegetarian friendly products. I might need to spend extra money to buy better products but I can keep longer and makes me feel much better.
I moved to MI 2 years ago. Currently I'm working at Japanese automotive company as a translator/ Exective assistant. I chose this job for my carrier to work at home in the future.
My dream is find a place to build small cozy house, and grow veggies and fruits in the garden.

Been around the block a bit, as they say, but still very fit & young-at-heart! Most people assume I'm 50ish! Retired now, but not ready for the "pipe & slippers" just yet! I was a professional salesman for most of my working life, combined with a semi-pro occupation as a drummer at weekends. More recently, I got into photography (properly) and did weddings & portraits mainly (work featured on ITV & some big-name Companies). Not "tall dark & handsome" (sorry!) but I make up for it by being happy, loving, attentive and spontaneous. I'm not a control freak, I'm easy-going and liberal-minded. I still enjoy going to live music gigs and concerts. Exploring new places. I support many animal welfare charities and am concerned about the environment too. Born in UK, and also holding an Irish passport, & had a lovely coastal house in Ireland. I'm back in the UK now catching up with friends and joining a band (or two) to resume my drumming.

I have a quite mixed background. 100% italian origins but was born and bred in Venezuela till I was 23 years old, so that definately added some caribbean personality on my mediterranean upbringing. Living in England has given me lots of learning and actually it's so vegan friendly that I would happily call it HOME. Spent a few years in Paris and Barcelona but now I'm back in the UK. I speak spanish, italian, english and french. I love a deep, rich, blue sky. For me it represents clarity, possibilities, perspective, wonder. Clouds are ok (and, of course, inevitable) and can add contrast, color, movement and more perspective. On a day with blue sky I usually find myself looking up at some point or another, taking it in, awestruck for a spell.
And, I also usually find something to wonder or be curious about as I go through my day ~ yes, maybe the sky, some aspect of nature, how to approach a knotty problem, how nonjudgmental bit of humor can change an encounter or a room, and so on...
I've lived outside of the box and inside the box and continue to do both. I'm open and curious and yet also practical and have my feet on the ground.
And, I work on staying fit and healthy and I enjoy a scoop of coconut milk ice cream at the end of the day. I revel in gaining perspective - cultural, social, artistic, musical, spiritual, and scientific. And I'm pretty handy too. I can change a leaky washer that causes a sink to drip and do other stuff like that.
I'm interested in meeting others who are open to wonder and strive to be curious and ultimately a co-traveler.
