I have been Vegetarian since 1971 . I eat some cheese in both Italian and Mexican only when I go out to these type restruants and if I eat pasta the egg whites that hold it together. At home I use soy cheeses and tofu to hold Pasta together. I love raw food restruants when possible and try to eat mostly Vegan.I started a soyfoods company in 1980 and sold it in 2003 , had a soymilk business suppling Trader Joe's stores that ended in 2017.
About me: I am easy going, romantic, trusting, meditate daily, studied with a Chinese Master 25 years or so. I like equality in a relationship over someone being dominant. I love to travel, scuba dive, hike in the mountains and doing photography. I feel the heart is very sensitive so I am not into playing games or here for the fun of it. I am seeking the right woman for entering into a wonderful loving relationship to last a life time. I am always respectful and would never ever take you for granted. I am seeking someone who cares for their body, is at least Vegetarian and even vegan or strictly into raw food. I believe patience and timing of everything is important to the chemistry we are creating between us. I believe a relationship or marriage is something that is created between two loving people and is like a small infant. It needs all the love and support and attention we can give it and with all the respect one has to give is essential.I prefer to stay in the moment verses being in imagination in the past or future. we both should not be taking life too seriously and be able to laugh at ourselves We always have time for each other and we know the value of good communication as it the most important aspect of a relationship we have. A few words that would describe me are: Adventurous, Spontaneous, Curious, full of energy.. Im the guy that usually brings a cloth bag to go grocery shopping, to save a tree. I shop at farmers markets whenever I can to support local agriculture, and get a higher quality food. I grow my own food, and strive to eat from home garden as much as possible. Traveling must be at the top of the list. Some places I have traveled.. Peru, Cyprus, Switzerland, Carribean, Fiji, Puerto Rico, Hawaii, Iceland, Spain, Italy, United Kingdom, Costa Rica, Canary Islands and around the USA.. I find it really interesting to experience cultures that are new to me, and to see the differences in how people live and how they act... I have come to realize that here in America, we generally live a much "faster paced" life with less traditions than some of the other cultures I have visited.
Other interests include outdoor interests including hiking, mountain biking, rollerblading, kneeboarding, snow skiing, rock climbing.. I also enjoy researching and learning about subjects that interest me. Im like a sponge and like to soak up information.
Im into reading and self-improvement. Im currently into Gardening and growing my own fruit and vegetables and wild edibles. Ever taste fresh Tamarillo or Magenta Lambs Quarter or Stevia? Delicious! Many times im quiet and just listening and learning.. unless you get me talking about something I know about.
I am a fix-it-guy, I have worked on remodeling/construction/cars/ electronical items, a tinkerer at heart.
It gives me joy to volunteer for my local pet rescue organization and foster a dog who was unwanted or homeless pet
